Toulouse, Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, count of

   Born at Versailles, Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, count of Toulouse was the third legitimized son of king louis XIV and Mme de montespan. He served in the War of the Spanish Succession, fighting the British fleet commanded by Admiral Rooke (1704) at Malaga. The count of Toulouse held a small court at Rambouillet that rivaled that at Sceaux.
